  * Review and approve sub-contractors piping, welding, post weld heat treatment and non destructive examination procedures where necessary.
  * Ensure pipe-fitters are qualified and their certificates are prepared and maintained in accordance with company control procedures
  * Maintain and continuously update the Company Welder Qualification Register
  * Review contract weld repair rates and produce on a monthly basis an analysis of total repairs for the company
  * Ensuring welding instruments for recording parameters are maintained in good condition and are regularly calibrated
  * To maintain and update the register of company welding procedure qualification records
  * To submit on a monthly basis a report summary of outstanding issues to the Company Welding Services Manager
