• Algerian Startup Initiative is an American nonprofit organization committed to foster entrepreneurship in Algeria. My role is to coordinate /set up /follow processes, events, competitions, screening entrepreneurs’ applications, etc.
o Program Coordinator for Maghreb Startup Initiative, business plan competition for the Maghreb region. My role is to set up /moderate /promote competition through road show minibootcamps in different regions; organize final 3 days bootcamp in October 2012 and manage communication with shareholders.
o Program Coordinator for Global Innovation through Science & Technology Bootcamp (14-15 July 2012), seminar and mini competition for promoting entrepreneurial spirit among youths with many valuable speakers as Jeff Hoffman (Priceline, Colorjar, etc.), Scott Hartley, Gibs Song (VCs in California), etc. My role was to organize the event and ensure financial tracking.
• Casbah Business Angels is the first angel investment company in Algeria formed by most Algerian Startup Initiative members. My role is to help coordinate dinners and screen entrepreneurs’ applications.
