As a qualified QA/QC coordinator, I have developed my career abroad in order to engage myself in motivating projects in the domain of Oil & Gas (Onshore & Offshore field development). Different work experiences in North and south (desert) of Algeria (Algiers, Béjaia & Hassi-Messaoud) have provided me the opportunity to commit myself significantly to management and handling of factual situations, mainly on field and also in offices. 

I’m competent with standards such as ISO 9001, ISO 10006, audits handling and the offshore and onshore environments.

    SURESNES 2012 - 2013 - Participate in the critically assessment rating and inspection levels definition,
    - Conduct the Pre-Production Meetings (PPM) and to facilitate the start of production,
    - Review / approve the Suppliers Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs) and related control procedures defined in the Supplier Document Register (SDR),
    - Define the scope of inspection prior to assign and coordinating the inspectors,
    - Nominate qualified inspectors for the implementation of the surveillance on-site,
    - Liaise with SCM to ensure that “Look-ahead Inspection Schedule” and inspections are scheduled,
    - Review / approve the Inspection Reports, identify any problems and keep the project and departmental staff informed of progress,
    - Process NCR’s raised during inspections and keep the project and departmental staff informed of progress,
    - Verify all Technical Queries and NCRs are closed prior to organising the Release,
    - Validate the Inspection Release Notes (IRN) and associated Punch Lists,
    - Participate in performance evaluation of suppliers / yards as requested,
    - Review and approve final documentation,
    - Act as Subsea 7 ambassador with regards to HSE matters and participate to the supplier HSE continuous improvement,
    - Aid in ensuring that Subsea 7 procedures are in place, known and respected by all relevant staff,
    - Assist during the engineering / development phases to ensure that key steps are respected,
    - Ensure active QC monitoring of Subcontractors activities, in line with resulting Surveillance level,
    - Carry out investigations as required for critical NCR’s and Quality Observations. Ensure feedback mechanisms are in place to continuously improve the way we work with our Clients,
    - Ensure the adequate close-out of non-conformity, deviation requests, concession requests and technical queries.
  • Subsea 7 - Mission

    SURESNES 2011 - 2012 My mission is to participate in the reduction of the Cost of Non Quality (CNQ) and the improvement of the project performance:
    - Analysis of the Quality System of Subsea 7 in order to develop a mapping of strengths and weaknesses of the System.
    - Conduct a general survey (782 persons) regarding quality
    - Analysis of the survey results and presentation to the top management of Subsea7
    - Propose actions to improve the image and the effectiveness of the quality function
    - Use of the quality methods and tool
    - Propose a project assessment matrix by using the international norm “ISO 10006: 2003”
    - All my recommendations became officially the new targets for Subsea7

    Project Description:
    EPCC (Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Commissioning) project with Triple train LPG treatment plant, associated condensate production facilities and infrastructures in the Hassi-Messaoud oil complex, with a total capacity of 8 million cubic meters a day.

    Job description: Completion System Coordinator & Project Quality Deputy Manager

     Assist the Quality manager in establishing, implementing and maintaining the quality management system.
    Maintain relationship and liaise with clients to follow up the quality issues.
    Assist the QA/QC team (35 inspectors) to review the Contractor’s QA/QC Documentation, such as Quality Plan, ITP, QA/QC Procedures, etc. related to EPCC works
    Responsible for planning, organizing and managing the overall quality test planning
    First responsible for the SAIPEM quality control software (PCOS) dedicated to handle all the quality controls related to the Equipments, Pipeline, Piping, Steel structure, storage tanks, painting, insulation, civil works…)
    Manage a team with three (03) operators to control and import the quality control certificates in the project software (PCOS).
    Monitoring and coordinating Site Surveillance Programs and reviewing Contractor quality plans.
    Coordinates inspection activities for discipline inspectors at site and reports to the Project Quality Manager
    Act as liaison between the company, the partner and the Client for all quality control and inspection, testing activities.
    Elaborate weekly and monthly quality reporting and progress.
    Assure the maintaining of ISO 9001 requirements by all the quality team
    Support for follow-up and check all the relevant QCP and Items identification as per Engineering and vendors Drawings.
    Assure that all subcontractors Quality Documentation are issued and conform with SAIPEM management requirements
    Tool box meeting preparation and presentation for SAIPEM team and subcontractors
    Monitoring of the project non conformities during the different project phases
    Follow up of preventive and corrective actions
    Assurance of internal and external quality audits in line with ISO 9001 and ISO 10006.

    Client & localization: Algerian oil company SONATRACH / Hassi-Messaoud 900 km south east of Algiers

    Project Description:
    GOSP (Gas Oil Separation Plant) project type: Crude oil gathering system and associated gas treatment plant:
    -3 trains of 100.000 bbl/day each
    -4 trains of compression
    -Storage tanks: 4×50 000 m3 + 1×20 000 m3 Off Spec
    -Oil, Gas and Water pipelines (45 km)

    Job description: Completion System & QC Coordinator:

    -Quality Control test planning of all the project disciplines and activities by using the SAIPEM project software.
    -Configured SAIPEM Database for all Construction, Pre-commissioning and commissioning activities (liaison with QCP, system and sub-system association).
    -Responsible for a team of five (5) operators to control and import the quality control certificates in the project software (PCOS –Project completion system).
    -Train SAIPEM operators on using the project software (Quality, pre-commissioning, commissioning phases)
    -Ensure the implementation of approved Quality Plan, ITP, Inspection & Test Procedures for the EPCC scope of work to be executed both during the construction phase and during pre-commissioning and commissioning phase
    -Provide necessary support to the Discipline QC Inspectors to ensure that all inspection and testing with Hold and Witness Points are adequately attended.
    -Identification of missing certificates, backlog or not applicable tests for each Disciplines (Equipments, Piping, fabrication, pipeline, Civil, steel structure....)
    -Periodic Quality Control Progress reporting for each disciplines, system and subsystems
    -Follow-up of all the Test Pack (Pipeline & piping Hydro testing) certificates and assure the load in Software database
    -Management of Quality Control Documentation to ensure Mechanical Completion, pre-commissioning and Commissioning to issue Provisional acceptance Certificate
    -Help to the achievement of the mechanical completion objective and handing over of the systems to the Client
