As a university student pursuing a very popular course such as a Bachelor of Business and Admini-stration, gathering professional experience is a very difficult task. Among all the recently graduated students and those still pursuing their degrees, I believe that what makes a positive difference between an average student and an excellent student are certain criteria such as personal interest, striving for excellence, the ability to work in a team and, most importantly, the will to success. After very diverse job experiences, the skills that I have developed arising from these experiences make me a suitable candidate for a future. However, the experience itself gained from will make and even greater difference and provide me with the necessary skills that I need to pursue a future career.

Other very important skills that I have picked up along the way range from solving emer-gency technical and detailed problems with computers inside a Prometric Testing Center examining candidates’ proficiency in various professional and academic skills, to selling an extra portion of fries when working in McDonald’s. I have also the experience of working inside my University’s library and having the responsibilities of conducting detailed research and working closely with students and staff. Through all this, I have gained extensive practice in and am aware of the impor-tance of keeping close contact with clients no matter the level of my different jobs; I am as aware about the importance of client satisfaction which in its turn also gives me satisfaction. I can perform multi-task jobs, work in groups, be impervious to stress and also learn quickly. Work environments are constantly changing and are fast-moving; therefore, a fast-changing mindset along with adapta-bility is, therefore, very important. I not only have very analytical skills, but my overall experience in living and studying in different countries has given me the valuable ability to create and develop relationships easily. In addition, my easily adaptability with different people from diverse cultures and my interest within the Business and Administration Courses that I am pursuing have given me the business mindset that is needed to start pursuing my future career.

    maintenant As a part-time supervisor for Prometric Testing Center, leader in computer based profficiency exams, my key responsibilities included everything from solving emergency technical problems with the computers to maintaining good customer relationship and satisfaction. Since during the days I worked I was the only staff present my daily duties were of Opening, Running, and Closing the business in a secure and efficient manner. Maintaining a good customer relationship was also important, for customer satisfaction is and will continue to be a personal goal for myself.

  • McDonald's Restaurants - Crew

    maintenant Working in McDonald's as a part-time student job is being overall a good experience for me. My responsibilities have changed along with my work as I gained more experience. From the start, my first position was working inside the kitchen as General Crew. This taught me important aspects such as team work, multi-task and achieving excellence at any product or service. Moving on, my second responsibility came as I became kitchen supervisor where I was the one organizing and making sure everything and everyone were in place and working properly and efficiently. Currently I have been shifted to the front part of the restaurant working at the cash register. This has given me experience with customers and products and has improved my knowledge and awareness of customer satisfaction.

  • International University in Geneva - Library Supervisor Internship

    2004 - 2005 Working inside the University's library involved a variety of aspects. I was in charge of mostly all reasearch done by students, staff or professors. This provided me the experience of having to organize myself and search on specific and detailed themes. I was also in charge of the library's organizational structure with new material that came in.
