Collect, review and discuss work order inputs like priority, description of work, functional locations etc, for correctness of data, estimate and plan for timely availability of all resources i.e. manpower, material reservation, equipment and vendor requirements for effective execution without any delay. Monitor progress of work for scheduled jobs, develop task lists for repairs, corrective maintenance, and provide inputs for preventive and predictive maintenance, plant shutdowns and turnarounds. Direct and guide the maintenance work by discussing work orders with operations. Scheduling work orders to minimize any idle maintenance hours.
