My job consists to:
Control all the equipment and start up/ shut down oil export pumps.
Make up the lube oil for the pumps.
Take reading and filling log sheets.
Walk down around the plant and control of process parameters.
Gauge storage tank

Senior operator: 2000-2002 Sonahess


My job consist to
Control all the equipment and start shut down export pump.
Maintain Crude oil characteristics including (RVP, BSW and salt content) in coordination with laboratory.
Control separators 1er stage and second stage (Petrofac separators), test wells for computing their daily production, GOR (gas oil ratio) and GLR (gas liquid ratio).
Organize & supervise all the plant operating shift crew in the Process area, and to ensure safe and efficient operation of the Plant product.
Monitor and control Chemicals inhibitor consumption.
Follow permit to work system (hot & cold) and get all maintenance work done. Ensure the safe running of plants and plant facilities, and report all type of accidents / incident or any near miss incidents.
Use Allen Bradley UCP control system for rotating machines (Nuevo pignone compressors).

My responsibilities involved in:

Use DCS (Delta V- Emerson system) for process control.
Controlling of operational parameters to obtain optimum yield and on grade products
Achieve production targets, handling of various troubleshooting and provide solution to the problems.
Handle various emergencies like power failure, cooling water failure, Instrument air failure, and critical pump failure and compression gas failure.


Commissioning: 2007-2008
Acting supervisor:

Commissioning and start up of 3 boosters .3 gas-lifts and 2 miscible flood compressors (Nuevo Pignone) capacity of 110 MMSCFD.
Commissioning and start up Crude oil storage tanks and export pumps.
Utility system including air compressor (Atlas Copco GA 30/GA37/ZT160), nitrogen production unit, fuel gas and seal gas conditioning.
Cold and hot flare system.
Condensate stabilization unit including (slug catcher, Column, heater, heat exchanger and storage tank).
Water treatment unit (deaerator and chemical injection).

I was panel operator at Sonahess company , a joint venture of Sonatrach, the national oil and gas company of Algeria and Amerada Hess ( us oil and gas company ). However, I am interested in working for an international oil and gas company.
I am 38 years old and have a diploma of technician in gas and oil processing from the Algerian Petroleum Institute IAP, January 1992. I have more than 15years of practical field experience in oil and gas industry. I have worked in LNG plant Algeria Downstream for 1 year in Amine unit (Acid gas removal) by used (MEA). I have experience
in gas processing industry slug catcher (gas-lift process, mole sieve dehydration unit, oil export pumps , heaters, reciprocating compressors, centrifugal compressors , Sulzer pumps, gas turbines, miscible flood gas plants, Vapor Recovery units, crude oil treatment, separation( petrofac separator with ESD system PLC )and stabilization crude oil by heating for maintain RVP(red vapor pressure).BSW(basic sediment water) . well test GOR(gas oil ratio),GRL(gas ratio liquid) and , water re-injection, I also worked on DCS Delta-V Emerson process management System). I also have an excellent knowledge in hydrocarbon treatment, LNG plants (mercury removal), CO2 removal, H2O (water) removal) process, water treatment. I am also conversant with Start-up & Shut down, Hot & Cold work Permit system, Fire & Safety regulations, Hazardous gas & Hydrocarbon testing & Emergency plant shut down procedures.
IN 2007 I WAS with Commissioning start up team for new project GCR ( gas compression & re-injection) .The project consists of compressors 3 boosters with 2 stage and double anti surge valves with 70mmscf/day pressure from first stage (5bar to 20bar) and second stage from( 20bar to 40bar) each compressor ,3 gas lift with 110mmscf/day and pressure from (40bar to 150bar)each compressor ,2 miscible flood with 110mmscf/day pressure from (150bar to 400bar) ,crud oil storage tank, export pumps, Petrofac separators with capacity 48bpd, dehydration system, condensate stabilization and water treatment processes.. Nitrogen production fuel gas for power generator seal gas for compressors. Actually I am chef de champs (field manager)from 01/10/2008 TO O1/1O/2OO9 at spie Gabon oil and gas service with maurel& prom project. Onal field commissioning and startup. Upstream start-up platform well with PCP (progrecive cavity pumps) production and test manifold well testing. And downstream. Triphasic separators oil gas and water, boiler, desalter
