Project security coordinator for an International company working abroad. In Algeria since 2007 , I am in charge of the company internal safety plan,its implementation and measures of security concerning the expatriates protection.
Previously I worked as consultant in United Nations in the field of the logistics.
I handled the maintenance and the management of 500 vehicles spread in all the RDC ( ex-Zaire) during the general elections which took place between 2005 and 2007. I also took charge of all the air movements of the president of the Independent Electoral Commission and of its staff.
My experience of 29 years within the French Ministry of Defence and more particularly in the troops of intervention participates to make of me a rigorous co-worker with a big knowledge of the expatriation and its constraints in term of active and passive safety. I served overseas practically under all the latitudes whether it is in Africa (Gabon-Chad-Centralafrican Republic-Rwanda-Ivory-Coast-Démocratic Republic of Congo-Popular Republic of Congo)in Middle East(Liban)in South Pacific(Polynésie française-Mururoa-Nouvelle Calédonie-Vanuatu) in Balkans (ex-Yougoslavia)or French Antilles(Martinique and Guadeloupe).
Passionate person of contemporary history and reading I am particularly interested in developing countries as well as in their populations.
2007 - 2011SAFETY ADVISOR
- Coordination and liaison officer of an Italian factory (ENI Group) in Algeria.
In charge of protection and repatriation of staffs internationals.
Main missions:
- Evaluation of the effectiveness of the security plan
- Assess prevailing local security conditions
- Elaborate and implement updated measures
- Elaborate evacuation plan
- Maintain an ongoing evaluation of land, air and sea evacuation routes and resources for use in emergencies.
2005 - 2007Fleet manager - UNDP project in Kinshasa: “APEC” which provided support to the electoral process in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
In charge of three main missions:
1° Insure the provision of vehicles for all the operational missions of the electoral commission, the daily follow-up and the maintenance as well in Kinshasa as in province of 320 vehicles and 450 bikes of the CEI as well recruitment of the drivers.
2° Manage the automobile dispatch of the project APEC consisted of 33 vehicles and 66 drivers for the benefit of the operational missions of the project.
3° Manage the plane given to the electoral commisssion (organization of the journeys of the president of the CEI, the management of the hours of the plane for the benefit of the other entities or the services of the CEI.
2002 - 2005- Executive of a company of safety (Main-sécurité-Groupe ONET) Responsible for exploitation of a structure of 110 persons distributed on 20 sites. In charge of timetables, schedules, training, recruitment and frame of which I managed live.
Responsibilities:
- organizing, planning, monitoring and controling the employees
- Insure the integrity of the goods and the persons
- Insure the integrity of the installations on production sites (EADS, power grid network, TNT AIXOR) and in particular all of the Pierre Fabre laboratories in the south-west of France. Also in charge of the security of public events.
1975 - 2002Officer in charge of the re-deployment training of 1000 people for their reintegration in the civil life
