My job is to rebuild Syken's local network. I am also developing new web applications to manage quizes, students, ...etc using joomla 1.5 CMS and some extensions and modules.
The most important task i will have to achieve is to develop an e-learning platform to make our courses availible for our students wherever they might be. A big task to achieve, isnt it? wish me good luck!

I am teaching the use of Excel software to analyse data, and to create boards to facilitate decision making.

I will also begin giving english courses soon.

During 06 months, I tought english for students of a primary level; the lessons were given at a pace of three lessons a week.

•Elaborating reports both in French and Arabic about different issues related to cooperation in the domain of defense

•Ensuring a good functioning by keeping an up to date board; Elaborating periodic presentations informing the staff members of what is done and what is expected from them to accomplish in the future

•Hardware and software troubleshooting: computers, printers, scanners, operating systems…etc

•Conception and Realization of an application to help doctors diagnose coronary diseases.

•Initiation to the use of ultrasonic waves, segmentation of echocardiographical images using an active appearance model- a technique developed by Edwards, Taylor and Cootes of Manchester university-

•Classification and interpretation of the segmentation results using support vector machines to decide whether the patient presents a coronary disease or not

•Implementation using: visual c++, vision sdk & vxl libraries, and the aam-api developed by Mr. Stegmann.

The segmentation of echocardiographical images is a difficult problem due to the noise that is in the pictures; To improve the results of this crutial step, we have implemented the pyramidal method mostly to get rid of the initialization process required by the active appearance model.

A lot need to be done before computers can actually replace real doctors!

1. Software developer

•Conception and realization of an ftp server running under the Unix environment, conception using the unified modeling language UML; implementation using c++ and the socket library

2. Web developer
•Conception of a dynamic website in order to manage the printing center of the military engineering school.
•Implementation using the following technologies: html, javascript, php, mysql, apache, and dreamweaver.
